Ep. 148 Minutes to Midnight
Monday Dec 31, 2018
Monday Dec 31, 2018
The New Year is coming in fast, so we're ending 2018 with a bang. This week we're celebrating the New Year with the New Year horror movie "Minutes to Midnight". A relatively new and fun slasher film that stars William Baldwin, a skeletal Richard Grieco and features horror icon Bill Moseley phoning it in. This film is filled with horrible continuity problems, a son who is older than the father, an ex-wrestler, and killers' that looked like they were either ripped out of a Batman comic or Mortal Kombat rejects. However, even with all its faults it does have some gnarly looking weapons, great fight scenes and was surprising fun to watch.

Ep. 147 Blood Beat
Tuesday Dec 18, 2018
Tuesday Dec 18, 2018
Christmas is fast approaching and nothing says Christmas more than telepathic psychic battles and the killer ghost of an ancient samurai warrior. Hmm, okay everything probably says Christmas more than that. This week we're taking our samurai katanas and slicing up the very rare and even stranger "Blood Beat". This 1982 horror movie is truly one of a kind. It's combination of horrible acting mixed with comicaly bad yet awesome special effects and insanely bizarre and strange plot make this little known gem a must watch.

Ep.145 Blood Freak
Monday Nov 26, 2018
Monday Nov 26, 2018
Happy Thanksgiving Moongoons! This week's cinematic feast is "Blood Freak", an incredibly bizarre and wonderfully awful piece of movie history. This one of a kind film from 1972, is beyond words and truly needs to be seen to fully understand its awesome awfulness. Featuring a chain smoking narrator, drugs, Bible thumpers, the Italian Tarzan, and experimental turkey meat along with horrific editing, awful screaming on a loop, and music stings that will make your ears bleed. Do yourself a favor, listen to this episode then go watch the movie for yourself.

Bonus: Camp Death 3 in 2D

Wednesday Nov 21, 2018
Hey Moongoons, have you even watched a good horror movie and thought to yourself "Boy, I really wish someone would make a really stupid, I mean really retarded over the top stupid version of this movie?" Well, if you have then this is the movie for you. In this bonus episode we talk about the soon to be released "Friday the 13th Part 3" spoof "Camp Death 3 in 2D". This indie film strives to be one of the stupidest movies ever made, and we think they succeeded. Featuring, a cocaine addicted squirrel, puppets, offensive characters and dialogue along with more 'F-bombs" then all of Quentin Tarantino's movie combined.

Ep. 144 Hell Week
Monday Nov 19, 2018
Monday Nov 19, 2018
Holy discombobulated mess, Moongoons! This week's movie "Hell Week" is crazy drunken mess of a indie film. It's so ridiculous that I'm not even sure what to say about it. I can say it features more characters than a J. R. R. Tolken novel, with one of the killers being a musical savant, along with a psycho maniac family, ghosts, vampires and run time that makes it feel like a week, it does live up to its title "Hell Week"

EP. 143 Pledges
Thursday Nov 08, 2018
Thursday Nov 08, 2018
Eight college kids in camping in the woods and getting killed, is a tale as old as time. So, you would think that it would be pretty hard to mess that up, right? Well, the 2018 "Pledges" figured out a way to do just that. Is this indie film a ghost movie, a demon movie, an alien movie, or is it a hodgepodge smashup up of all the above? The Hell if we know, all we know is that we don't have an F'ing clue as to what's happening in this movie. However, it does feature some pretty good visual and special effects along with some tolerable acting.

Ep.142 Dark Walker
Tuesday Oct 30, 2018
Tuesday Oct 30, 2018
It's Halloween weekend and we're closing out our tour of haunted house themed movies with the 2003 indie film "Dark Walker". Featuring a killer hippie monster with OCD, one dimensional characters devoid of personality and a plot that makes less and less sense as the movie goes on this, but it does have decent gore for the budget and buckets upon buckets of blood. However, that is not enough to save this movie form its horrible writing and California sized plot holes. Stay tuned after the show for a bonus rant segment.

Bonus: The Houses October Built 2
Wednesday Oct 24, 2018
Wednesday Oct 24, 2018
In this bonus mini episode long time guest Chris Samples and host Marshall Hampton sit down to drink some beer and discuss "The Houses October Built 2", the sequel to "The Houses October Built", which has earned a place on our "all time most hated" films list. The sheer mention of the original film put Chis into a blinding rage, so of course we had to bring him back and force him to sit down and watch the sequel. Will this be the movie that finally makes Chris snap?

Ep. 141 American Fright Fest
Wednesday Oct 24, 2018
Wednesday Oct 24, 2018
Continuing our tour of haunted house attraction movies brings us to "American Fright Fest". This brand new indie horror film has one of the highest body counts we've seen in a long time and stars Dylan Walsh, of "Nip Tuck" fame. Can those two features carry this blood bath of a movie over the threshold from bad to good? We were split on our opinions this week, so listen in and judge for yourself.
